Nothing Lasts Forever Anymore
A young lady bounced out of her house as chipper as ever. She loved the world and everything in it, from the smallest bugs of the forest to the largest whales of the deep ocean. Everything was sunshine and rainbows to her, even if that was not the case. She thought this wonderful world would last forever. Even when she saw a car plow through a gaggle of her classmates, she still loved the world. When an apartment complex collapsed in her town, injuring and killing many others. she still smiled for the world. Even when she lost her job and had to watch her house burn the ground, she still thought optimistically of the world. The world broke out into a nuclear war, and she still laughed with the world. The world was gutted by the corrupt and inhumane leaders as nukes were fired left and right, and her smile only then began to fade. It was only when the world fell to the nukes and was turned into a radioactive wasteland that she finally saw that nothing, even the best and most precious things, lasts forever.
