Just a Little
I cried today, I cried and cried. But not as much as I did yesterday. I'll laugh, I'll laugh and laugh, tomorrow. But not as much as I did today. Yesterday is different. Different than today. different than tomorrow I still remain the same. Same hair, same height, nose and teeth and the other things, too. I am still me the imperfect me that cries often and rarely that laughs often and rarely. How often it may seem, it is never enough. A day is never enough. Not enough for me, I'm too busy laughing, too busy crying. Sorry I didn't get your call please try again tomorrow I might not be crying then I might also be waiting, waiting for you to call again. While I wait, I laugh and cry. All I wanted was a little more time. Perhaps you won't call and i won't laugh or cry, too.
