What If
What if the President called me on the phone? What if I did not answer because it was an unknown number? What if I won the lottery, but I did not know because they used an unknown number to call me? What if the Queen invited me to tea? That is silly. I almost always am the one who does the inviting. What if I drew a hand today and built it up with lots of thick flesh-colored paint? What if I do not have any idea which flesh color to use as there are about a million flesh colors? What if this imaginary flesh-colored arm, which I would probably have to do in gobs and gobs of flesh colors got thicker and thicker, and came off the page, and shook people’s hands when they walked by? What if they loved it? What if they called me to give me an award for promoting love and happiness with this flesh colored arm? What if everyone was mad because I used too many flesh colors? What if the President and the Queen blocked my numbers from their phones? What if I wake up? What if I stop remembering these what ifs? What if I don’t? What now?
