A Toe
Take the left toe on the left foot The second one in from the end Between the little and middle Focus on its majestic quality Though alone and forgotten in a sock Keep it with you at all times for luck In an iron boot for safety sake Take it with you when you walk A clean white sock is for comfort but not forever Toes don't mind enclosed spaces for short times They prefer pregnant beaches of sand and ocean Open to the public on holidays and special occasions For purposes undisclosed at this moment The unnamed appendage remains intact As to why it won't go in to deep water Perhaps a fear of fish or man eating sharks Or something worse... the manicure Left Toes are no joke in the ocean According to the ones we know Our investigations disclosed this They are the first to freeze When taking that first step in It is always cold but not lethal Don't step on them They are not fingers They are not a fish If you lose a lower digit You can never count on it And never reach ten..... again Take the left toe on the left foot The second one in from the end Between the little and middle Focus on its majestic quality Though alone and forgotten in a sock Keep it with you at all times for luck In an iron boot for safety sake Take it with you when you walk A clean white sock is for comfort but not forever Toes don't mind enclosed spaces for short times They prefer pregnant beaches of sand and ocean Open to the public on holidays and special occasions For purposes undisclosed at this moment The unnamed appendage remains intact As to why it won't go in to deep water Perhaps a fear of fish or man eating sharks Or something worse... the manicure Left Toes are no joke in the ocean According to the ones we know Our investigations disclosed this They are the first to freeze When taking that first step in It is always cold but not lethal Don't step on them They are not fingers They are not a fish If you lose a lower digit You can never count on it And never reach ten..... again *Authors Note: - Addendum to the appendage in question; If you begin counting at the upper left or right quadrant of the body with the fingers, you will reach the sum of 19 total, that is, if in the event a digit, (like a toe) goes missing or lost. If you only count the toes located at the lower part of the anatomy, then the established calculus changes to facilitate the count of 9 (not to be confused with 19) and again, you will never get to 10, so pray for the toe no matter how lowly.
