Hope of Morning Star
She is out there again, morning star. Alone. By herself. Forgotten when the other stars returned to heaven, before break of day. I wonder if she realizes where she was to go, and how to get there. Does she know it is a journey she can make by herself? I gaze at her in silent awe, wishing herself happy, worried that She might not find her way home. We all get back there eventually. Like this daring little star, We must travel alone. It is our journey, no one else’s. Even if we Go at the same time, we go at our own pace, in our own path. Back and forth between worlds, some of us travel nightly in our Dreams. Others do not realize this, and go there once upon a lifetime. Forth and back, rather than back and forth. Who am I kidding? We all travel there nightly. Some of us are More aware than others. Some do not realize it at all. They do Not recall their dreams, sleeping as hard as rocks, with open mouths, Drooling, as they travel. Like morning star, they are on a path of their Own, and will do what they need to do, but on their own time, in their Own sweet way. I send them prayers, hopes, and wishes as they Lie there, prone, willing to disbelieve in their own happiness.
