The Works of God -John 6: 28,29
It's such an old age question a question asked by every generation there's wonder in the asking voice that's filled with mindful fascination In this gospel of John, it's recorded here the disciples ask Jesus what they want to know what was it they had to do? a real work? Jesus knew the answer this He would show This work of God, could man do such? a divine work that only Christ can do but a sinful man had to find a holy way one that was spirit filled so divinely true Jesus revealed the answer so sought the work of God is for man to believe on the eternal son of God that was sent by the father for souls elected to retrieve The gift to repent of our sin is given only by God alone to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ this too divinely given sins to atone ("Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”) John 6: 28,29 (ESV)
