Not Alone Anymore There
When does it stop? Where is the end? Shall I talk or keep it locked in? A note is all they really need. Slit a wrist, cut my neck in a dry bathtub: Blood flows tidy down the drain. Clean up is easy. Up all night, internet and beer. Alone each day by choice and fear. I’m already dead. They are better off without me. The pain finally over and freedom, Stop the damage before it gets worse. A good thing, right? It’s more a crime to continue than end. Know when to run; know when to stop. Death is the only way to stop sinning anyway. Death alone and unattached is not so bad. Little family with me; friends are sparse. No one really cares for long after. A *centillion voices in hell call out, “Join us. Do it. Why stay in torment?” I won’t be alone anymore there. ________________________________________ *The number “1” followed by 303 zeros.
