Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required As I look back on those days of Joyful Reckoning, I shed a tear, I had a wife once and she was the best thing since pancakes, eggs, and sausage, But I was a confused man, tormented by fears that I did not understand, And so I lost her, But as soon as the sun rises, My love for her never dies, I just love her differently, My 3 queens I used to call them, For my love for my ex-wife and 2 daughters is a rare thing indeed, You can let go of a relationship, You can accept divorce, But you can’t let go of love, For love is the fuel of all that is beautiful and wondrous in this realm, As I look back on those days of Joyful reckoning, I shed a tear, I had a wife once, and she was the best thing since pancakes, eggs, and sausage. But I was a confused man, tormented by fears that I didn’t understand, And so I lost her, But her love for me did not die, And now we are friends who pray for her new family on Wednesdays. You can let go of a relationship, You can accept divorce, But you cannot let go of love, For love is the fuel of all that is beautiful and wondrous in this realm. I am a a man of great chaos, for I am berated by shadows that I do not understand. But in my heart there is great love. Even God tells me so. And so I just put one foot in front of the other, one next right thing after one next right thing, Until the sunshine warms my face with a rainbow beside it. As I look forward to what awaits me, I ponder on those coming days of Joyful Reckoning, And I shed a tear.
