Once not long ago, I would have been guilty as charged, but today I said nix. Lately I have discovered a respect for boundaries, in the long run, mean more than a quick fix. She played down her helpful gestures, advice, water, as if, these shouldn't carry any weight. She didn't realize the small things, quickly add up, in the scale somewhere in the sky, and our time here is getting late. To gain a new friend, would be lucky, better than a lotto win.
