Starfall
Starfall I saw a shooting star running across the sky It was like a softball of sparkles that can fly And I wondered Maybe the one of the angels just hit a homerun Because is not every day we witness such a spectacle My teacher taught me otherwise He said those are meteors that happened to be flowing pass earth And some eventually fall and hit earth Star fall We always marvel at the greatest achievements We give a round of applause at awards We throw after parties for the stars And write biographies I wonder Are we all stars that blink at nightsky Or we are just a piece of rock in flames running across the sky As we marvel at the stars running, Ever wonder where they end Is it a place high up there Or is a crash landing on planet dirt And will soon be forgotten Like the rainbow That seem like a sad face But he is just an upside face Probably smiling at the sun And enjoying the breeze of the after rain He is just himself I saw a shooting star running across the sky It was like a softball of sparkles that can fly And I wondered Maybe the one of the angels just hit a homerun Because is not every day we witness such a spectacle We strive so much to be seen and praised But as we fall we are immediately forgotten The star that blinks up there takes billions of years to be Or a piece of rock in flames running for doomsday skyfall
