Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I should be number one, wouldn’t you think? But sometimes my life seems to be on the brink. I wonder if I am a woman to swim or to sink? I know deep down I can still drown in the water- but I must take care of my husband and daughter. My family tells me to do something special for myself, for I never yearned for material items nor wealth. I must take care of my body and stay in good health, so that I can be the woman God called me to be- a heartfelt member of my adoring family. Shall I try to live with experiencing different things? Be the one in a restaurant who gets up and sings? I try to stay balanced and pray that God brings me to a place where I’m at ease with my life, in order to be that good mother and wife. So I lay on my bed and profoundly digress, and know I must say the things I wish to express. For I do believe I am a good woman, I confess. I know deep down I am a great person with empathy- a woman with a compassionate personality. From this day forward I shall try to put myself first, because eventually I’m the one who feel the worst. Yes, I promise I shall continue to still be immersed in embracing and spreading the love I already do- maybe I do honor me foremost and I never even knew.
