An Incomplete Love Story No More
“…I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”* With such compassion-filled assertion, the Supreme Lover assured me His unconditional love along His grace, mercy, forgiveness and peace despite of who I was: tenaciously stubborn and self-willed midst my human nature’s vanities, flaws, imperfections even though by divine perspective, I was utterly worthless. “How unfathomable” was my reaction Marked by vehement refusal... …Making the story incomplete. “…I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” Again, such truth reverberated---reaching my heart Expressed by the sovereign Source and Author of love With His goodness, provisions and wisdom Subduing my self-righteousness, arrogance, loftiness Vanquishing my skepticism, doubts, apprehensions Conquering my sinfulness, guilt, shame… “How sacrificing” was my response... Moved by faith He has granted, I trusted Him – my Savior… ...Making the love story complete! *Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
