Her Day Suddenly Got Brighter
She came home.. The day seemed long, eternally long.. She felt exhausted, but the feeling wasn't quite uncommon to her...at times leaving her a foreboding feel.. But her mind was in not in her happy place..she needed to be there... Her children were away for the summer, they had earned their break.. Her job ,well she seemed to have settled in after the recent round of redundancies.. So all was well on that front.. But still.. She thought.. Her love life...sigh!! She kept questioning , What really is love...you are wooed, you are wined, you are dined, you fall in love ,you fall out of love.. But then she still missed that feel.. Off with the day's ware..all the trials ,the drama of the day.. Into something much more beffitting of her mood.. .. She relaxes on her balcony, overlooking the pristine , unbelievably blue ocean, the sun is in it's decent and as she lay, not even realizing when she drifted to her happy place, Maybe the wine or the breeze or the combination of both..but she did drift.. She had not noticed the first buzz of her phone ,which was beside her, the second round of buzzing did jar her from her reverie.. She turned over her phone, glanced at the number, she hoped it was him, she wished it to be him...she smiles.. Her evening had just got brighter..
