A Funny Thing Happened On My Way To Dunkin Donuts
I stopped suddenly in front of the shop that sold donuts noticing an irate cop outside was having a moment yelling and running after a squirrel was quite a sight as I watched them both run across to the park in broad daylight Suddenly the squirrel dropped something from his mouth quickly retrieving the donut scurrying south with the cop on the squirrels heels in hot pursuit I wondered if this story would be in tomorrows news The squirrel scurried with his donut prize up a tree with the cop climbing up after the critter was a sight to see the agile cop reached out and caught the squirrels tail and brought the thieving critter down without fail After the flustered cop got the donut out of the squirrels teeth he put the squirrel in a small cage in his patrol cars back seat saying to the squirrel "you found out crime doesn't pay today and if you or anyone touches my donuts there's hell to pay!" When he left I resumed getting my bag of dunkin donuts quickly running with my goodies noticing some stray mutts. 6/28/18
