Frozen Heart
Frozen Heart There once was two lovers, one of them died. Which shattered the heart if the other and made her cry. The pain ran so deep, She could no longer sleep. And was barely able to breathe. From the weight of a thousand devils who would not let her be. Then one night, amongst her cries, another voice arose. It was her love (though dead now) it must have been his ghost. Her cries subsidised as his voice cut through her mind. She heard his word (though his face was blind.) He told her that her pain could end and they could be together. All she had to do was cut out her heart and mend it back together. She grabbed a dagger and plunged it deep and snipped away the edges. Her heart plopped out in pieces and was surrounded by some angels. Her body lay still as the angels, by their will, kept her animated. She somehow managed to sew up the heart, amazed at what she created. And knowing if she put it back inside, it would, one day decay. She froze it deep inside the lake. Where it sits to this very day.
