The Man
"THE MAN" The world lost a friend the day he passed away, for he was special on this earth.....his example every day. You didn't have to know him well to see the man within, he was a gift................and you knew it right away. A man of peace and comfort... ....and not a lot to say. You saw it in "the man".....a candle burning bright. He said it with his spirit, and with his untold love... You didn't ever question how much he had to give. You knew he gave his all...that's just the way he lived, his best to all who knew him, as only he could be. You saw it in 'the man"... a candle burning bright. He lived his life with honor...you knew him to be true. You didn't need to hear his words, to know he valued you. Such a man is hard to lose...for he was ever true, and letting go of him... the hardest thing to do. You close your eyes and see him, his candle ever bright... he gently takes your hand... and you hear him as he whispers on the wind, he hasn't really gone away. You still see "the man"........
