Lonely Can'T Describe
How'd my life come down to this? Another New year's eve with no one to kiss. I'm all alone, not invited anywhere. I wonder if they even notice I'm not there. I asked everyone I knew, they said they had no plans. When I asked if they wanted to hang, they said "no thank you ma'am. Found out two days later they had partied all the night. Guess they didn't miss me, cause I didn't get the invite. They said they were my friends but in the end I'm all alone. They said they were my friends but there true colors now have shown. Lonely I would say I am but that would not convey, The emptiness I feel inside every stupid day, I sit in front of my tv with nothing else to do, But dream of days now long ago I use to spend with you. An I know I shouldn't dwell and I don't mean to complain, But it's hard to be independent while I slowly go insane. An I'm sorry that I need you, I don't mean to be a pain. I was hoping maybe you could possibly explain, Why all of my efforts seem to be in vain. I try to fill the void, but the emptiness remains.
