Another Sweet Boy Gone Rip Lucky Loo
He may be just a bunny to some who don’t understand, A small rodent like animal only living in a small cage. But my Lucky Loo was part of our family from a young age, He only weighed 4 pounds, fit in our arms and hands. He actually had his own room to run around and play, He enjoyed small spaces to hide and sleep in peace. I made him his own bunny blanket made of fleece And he loved the warm furnace room on cold days. He was white and fluffy, so soft and cute and sweet, Above his left cheek he had a brown beauty mark. We always left a dim light on for him when it was dark And man, did he have the cutest and tiniest feet. He used to swing on Bo’s tail and hop around our home, Mugsy didn’t know what to think about this bunny. Seeing all my sweet boys together was so funny, I feel comforted knowing he didn’t die alone. I decided that my name on Poetry Soup be Laura Loo, In honor of my soft bunny who I loved so dearly. My whole family’s love for him was seen clearly, Now my sweet boys are gone; I don’t know what to do. I loved Bo, Mugsy and Lucky Loo more than anything, Along with my family they were my whole world. Funny, we actually never knew if he was a boy or a girl, We just assumed and will always be our bunny king. To my sweet Lucky Loo may heaven treat you well, Tell Bo and Mugsy we said hi and we miss them extremely. My love for you soars throughout time and space immensely, Rest in peace and eat those dandelions…Lucky Loo, farewell. ***as of this morning all three of my sweet boys have gone to heaven. They are all together once again. I'm sure Lucky Loo is swinging off Bo's tail like he did when Bo was alive. I miss all three of them dearly and wish this didn't have to happen. Thankfully, we still have Brady, a beautiful Golden Retriever. Don't know what I would do without him*** May 30, 2018
