Once I Saw Love
Once I saw love and I rush to greet her an to kiss her, and sweet was the memories. in full I knew her name but dare not speak it. She was young and knew not her worth in this state of truth. and i say sit with me and talk with me for alone am I. she smile to greet her laughter but she was afraid to love me. she said, in those days I left you who eyes grew old. How is it you remember me? and a love not yet born. I am a mystery to you who is not born. and my eyes are young and old. Why toy about who you are just sat it. I reply, I am a man who has been taking but still am a man. she say, yes i know you God's Eternal writer. she say I will sit with you and talk with you. Before some unearthly name call to you. and I say oh dear tell me about love. than she smile to greet my sadness than say, I saw our lord weeping down the valley near, I knew he was the lamb, who made thee to be marry, sweet, and innocent peace. and the lord say, my hair is white and my eyes red with sorrows, what of man disbelief. but by this pleasant stream the mother do keep the father. thou are the male and female for you can not be without the both.
