Sacrificed
SACRIFICED Gave my heart But not for a token, Gave my life, But not to broken, More than a mom, was one with two meanings, Would do it all again, for the necessary redeeming. Sacrificed Gave my all, But not for the taking, Gave my best, But not for the breaking, It wasn’t a competition for a place in hearts to be won, How I cried for the betrayal, was the innocent one. Hoped my children now gone, would remember their way home, Sacrificed Now I ask Just let me go, The mom that I am, I know that you know, You got what you you wanted, but can’t have it both ways, Changed my long waited nights, into your wonderland days, The world you created, excluding me, is the world I’m not in, so just let me be. I’ve never changed, i am love all the same, just... Sacrificed
