Keeping Peace of Mind
I'm gonna take a moment, to sorta reminisce, and think about the old times, and the things I really miss! Like shopping with my Mom, going fishing with my Dad, talking sports with my two brothers, making my little sister mad! Years ago we had to do our chores, we had to walk to school. We got in real deep trouble, if we broke the Golden Rule! We use to get together and make up games to play! We didn't have no store brought toys, but had fun anyway! We had to swim in ponds and lakes, there were no pools back then. We'd go on hikes and camping trips, every, now and again! As teens, we didn't drive a car, our transport was a bike! TV was having growing pains, with poor reception and the like. We didn't have computers, IPads, Cells, and such! Just a telephone, or face-to-face was how we kept in touch! But, times ain't like that anymore, today things move too fast. But, it helps me keep my peace of mind, to reminisce about the past!
