A Wise Man Pt 1
A wise man once told myself, If you run away from life, then you're running to death, In debt to respect is what the wise man said, We gatta make life live, or we'll meet death dead, The wise man mumbled at the bottom of his breath, If fighting is a must, then we must fight death, Life is a volley, but you gatta serve, Inscribed in my soul were the wise man's words. A wise man once told myself, If you let love sit, then it just might melt, Life without love is unconsciousness, Trust of another never part with this, The wise man's words grew louder and stronger, If you run to love then you might life longer, Life is love and love is life's mountain peak, His heart screams through the words that the wise man speaks. A wise man once told myself, Even the wisest of wise often need some help... Then I too became wise of the wise man's plan, To pass me the knowledge of a wiser man, Disguised eyes were no longer true, You cant' do him, or do her, so DO YOU. The wise man and myself locked eyes, For he stared into those of a man who was wise.
