Without Asking Why
Suddenly she felt idyllic amid tug of passion Like answering the call of a blissful elation As if her jubilant journey had just begun Upon arrival of ebullient morning sun, It wasn’t the dawning of distant horizon Reflecting golden vistas splendidly lightened, Not even the bashful blush of parting moon Promising quite demurely to visit her soon, It must have been his arrival that caused Awkward turbulence of heart as she paused When he stole her eyes with a captive smile Arousing festive thoughts hidden for a while, Having forgotten to adorn her prudent style As he moved swiftly claiming life's worthwhile She clumsily displayed with fervent desire Welcoming visions that genuinely inspire, Reveling burst of ardor she was aflame When sound of his heart echoed her name, And though she heard the cry of his tepid sigh She embraced him intently without asking why.
