In anger and frustration, she stepped over the line Feeling and breathing air for the first time ....since trauma came The voices squealed to a halt Not being able to enter this new light She was aware of where she had been Fighting for the peace in the darkness of night Suddenly, new voices came to her ear Whispering things that couldn't be true She could focus on their presence Or think of ways to get through ...the lies For the first time ever, she said aloud "You are liars. I am loved and seen You know nothing of my heart I've been made clean Get out of my life and never come back I don't need you. I have no lack. LOVE is all I need!" She set into motion, a new way to walk She needed armed TRUTH to negate The ratta-tat-tat of lies That form a story to constantly narrate ...fear, doubt, and unbelief THAT LOVE, is ALLLLLLL I need!!!
