When Poets Question Why They Dare To Write
When Poets Question Why They Dare To Write What more can I say true, what more well, can I write to give the world and yet not join in its dark plight to walk a brighter path and thus hold my heart true sing a welcomed song, one that is soft and so true. Ah, but such tis the poet's struggle, greatest fight speak clearly, to write with even greater insight nay, I hold no special power, no special key I a writer, seeks to find the poet in me! I write with hope, hope that such may aid the readers what are poets but soft beggars and sincere pleaders protecting bark around the tall, mighty oak tree the shining truth, in this chaotic, earthly sea. Ah yes, you have caught me in a poet's spun tale Question is, does dust or water, spring from my well. R.J. Lindley, Sonnet 12/12, (14 verses and 140 words instead of 140 syllables.) (an exercise in math and poetic imagination)..
