Dip Me In a Sea With No Sharks
I’m so acclimated to this that I don’t see how it looks from the outside looking in i’m told that this is not right this is not normal this is not natural this is unhealthy corrupt detrimental But it doesn’t even bother me as much as it should I’ve grown with it I’ve only seen these shades of color when I heard about rainbows, I felt like part of the earth has been withheld from me And then I got angry. And then I saw the wrongness of it all. I saw the abnormality of my thoughts, tainted by the faded shades of what I thought was normal. My friends gave me their stories like spectacles for me to distinguish between what should be and what shouldn’t be; what i’ve never known, and the only body of water I’ve ever swam in— the collective drops of venom from the mouth of a human. I saw how terrifying it is that a human being could open their mouth and inject you with gradual death. It is a crescendo piano then forte a drop then an ocean - dip me in a sea with no sharks
