Inclusion of Pics & Voice in Contests

I would like to point out that the following inclusion in a poetry contest stipulation is prejudiced against those who enter contests and who, do not wish to, or are not able to, be premier members, since only these entrants are able to include pics or voice.

[[ Images and voicing, either as a recital or a song, will boost your rankings.]]

It is unfortunate, in my perspective, that capital investment, among other, in a site is a determining factor in placement. I would be interested to know whether other non-premier users of the site have this perspective.

Have a happy day. Ghairo

I am a premier member but I also feel it shouldn't allow me any privileges when it comes to contests. They shouldn't be visible to judges. I like images on my poems is why I dished out the money but not to increase my chances in contests.

Yeah, I don’t believe the situation has changed since I wrote that. I’m Sovereign, so am reluctant to be a member of anything. Though I’m mostly posting on Allpoetry which has no such stipulation. Also, on Allpoetry one can run your own Contests, without paying a membership fee for someone else’s investment. I think that is cool especially for young poets who want to grow their poetry analytical skills. ThkU for contributing to this chat. Sending blessings.

If that is so, I entirely agree with you Ghairo. Pascal
