My experiences of the creative in both art and poetry in particular is in four elements Perception, Parturation, Publication ,Participatipn..The cause and effect of creativity :.the impulse that creates inspiration, followed by the parturition (berthing) of the image, idea, thought ,into an artform giving life so to speak ,in words.
This primary purpose, the act of creativity, which is more important than whether it is considered 'valuable ' or is subjectively 'good' in someone else's eyes.
Then proceeding on a secondary reason, complementary and (thus a further bonus )is the the 'communion' thereof , 'the icing on the cake ' ,via first publication, and then record ,and to its fulfilment ,as another 'reads' or sees that images,idea or thought that once resided within me, its participation with another person. The unique 'as is momen',of communion thus created.
