After the Noise

When everything goes quiet again,
after the noise has left the room,
I notice things I used to miss—
the way the shadows learn the moon.

No rush to fix what time has done,
no need to chase what’s out of reach,
just learning how the heart can speak
in softer ways than words can teach.

And in that calm, I understand
what loudness always tried to hide—
that peace was never far away,
it only waited on the side.

This poem is about the calm that comes after chaos. It shows how silence helps us notice deeper truths and find peace within ourselves.
