The Poet Who Writes for Smiles That Never Fade Assalam-o-Alaikum( peace be upon you)& Hello! My name is Nazia. I am from Pakistan and I live in Islamabad often called the 2nd most beautiful city in the world I am a visual artist special educator working with persons with different abilities a social worker and an art and craft instructor. Poetry and writing are my passion. I write in 4 languages and my poems come from real life events and people I meet Today I am sharing my poem Thousand Watt Smile inspired by my 9 year old student with spina bifida. She had the brightest smile I have ever seen. She passed away last year and I still miss her deeply. I wrote this poem because I loved her most This forum feels like heaven for poetry lovers. It gives us space to express how we see the world. I would be grateful if you read my poem and share your thoughts whether kind feedback or honest critique. Both help me grow I have read so many amazing poets here and feel truly happy to be part of this poetry family. Praying for all of you. Stay blessed Nazia sultan
