PAY ATTENTION. It sounds expensive but it doesn't cost anything.

Hello my name is Steven and I have been doing poetry since I learned about it in English class in fifth grade. My mommy is my biggest fan and she always puts my poetry on her refrigerator and then gives me milk and cookies.
YEAH RIGHT!!!!!
For me poetry is a great way to release things in my mind. For me when the pen hits the paper and the words are produced, the things from my mind become real. I can surely see them then.
The classic line;
"Believe none of what you hear, and only half of what you see.”
Anyways I originally started writing poetry in my early twenties when I was in the penitentiary. I still have the majority of it. I did send quite a bit too different ladies during stays at different penitentiaries over the years but at the time I was writing it for them. I would like to get my hands back on all those but I doubt they even exist.
Over the years I've never stopped writing all types of stuff. I have a couple dozen notebooks filled and I literally have thousands of loose pages written by my hand.
I enjoy it so much more now for some reason. I'm in my 40s some people probably say it's a midlife crisis or something. It's definitely something but I don't know what yet. Currently, yesterday I had the bright idea to write a Christmas song so I'm working on that it'll be done way before Christmas I think I have to do a little research on it songs structure and probably have to get help to putting a tune to it or notes.
How's that for an introduction. Sometimes I wonder if any of this stuff are right makes any sense to anybody else but me. I don't know because I don't usually share any of it so consider yourself lucky.
Wright. Right. Write.
