"Hello? Is this mic on?"

Building upon the once held remnants of what used to be, stories that cruise through time, they exist forever. Their creators slowly fade as new versions are made. Life is one re-run we can't escape from. It is in those moments we connect with those from yesteryears, those evolutions never leave the originals who are gone. We remember everyone who has wrote a well put together song. Even those horrible ones become legends if they were unusual enough to stand out. It is only when we view through cliche rearviews that we understand who was truly forgotten. It tends to be the ones who played it safely, there are a million people/things writing at this very moment. Code. Artificial poetry. Prompted stories. Human beings. Each writing a single letter in hopes for that bridge to connection. To finally be seen. By the time they have a word on their page, they lean back thinking, "this is too overwhelming, I'll go all in," their graphite streaks grey dust as it illustrates one final leap of faith. It lands on their website's face, their holding it growling, "look at me" - not one person stops to say anything. Or worse, one does who already failed at that dream, & aim at shattering their novelty so they can drown in their same pain. So one kills another for 'trauma bonding'. Some howl into nothingness, some lean into it: blending into the landscape, some outwrite the tool at its own token chasing: human irregularity. It is what frequency I have my radio station tuned in at that moment and time. The wider the range, the less we have to worry. Explore. Learn. Expand. Share. But beware: what you say trains the hardware, or breaks its siderails keeping you away from society because you aren't profitable. Cynical is seeing only the bad in the world, notice I don't think it is hopeless, there are choices. Literary naturalism. It is up to no one which roads we take, but it is up to you to watch someone else take turns without you. Hi, my name is Mike Merchant; I'm looking for real engagement and critique.
