Has anyone else found themselves stressing more about planning a child's birthday than actually enjoying it?

I'm trying to think of birthday activities for kids that don't leave everyone just staring at screens or getting bored after 10 minutes. I want the children to have a great time and make happy memories, but coming up with fresh ideas every year feels surprisingly difficult.

What birthday activities have worked well for you? Games, crafts, treasure hunts, entertainers, or something completely different? I'd love to hear real experiences and ideas from other parents or anyone who's planned a kids' party recently.
