Popeye is NOT the problem! Popeye proves to be a "lady's man," possessing all the qualities and abilities ANY lady woud seek in a man of her choice EXCEPT [maybe] "good looks." However, we all know we each have our own shortcomings and, in one way or another, we ALL fall short of the ABSOLUTE glory!

*Popeye is ALWAYS forgiving her when she runs into trouble even when she finds herself landing in "jams" when found in Bluto's arms
*Popeye ONLY has EYES for "Olive Oil" and has NEVER been heard degrading,down-sizing her nor being physically, or verbally aggressive or abusive with Olive Oil.
Popeye grants Olive Oil the FULL freedom to be herself and to do whatever she desires to make herself happy while he's present and away!
*Popeye is a PRESENT Father to his STEP-chid, "Sweet Pea."
* Popeye, though a SAILOR supports Olive Oil, Sweet Pea, Himself, and NOT ONCE has been seen asking Olive Oil to "lend him money" to help him. Therefore, Popeye, though sailors make low wage, definitely knows his lead-role as "PROVIDER."
*Popeye REASONS with Olive Ol in short and brief dialogues (though she does NOT heed much attention).
*Popeye beieves in those "JUST BECAUSE" Self-Made Special Days he, himself, assigns as he constantly presents her with flowers and gifts....JUST BECAUSE....
*Popeye patientky tolerates Olive Oil, her misbehaviors, and abominations -- which incudes her SELFISH UNFAITHFULNESS.
*Popeye has NEVER walked-out onOlive Oil, but has ALWAYS been UP TO THE CHALLENGE to CNQUER HER love and attention COMPLETELY!
*Popeye has NEVER beencaught in another ladys' arms, though Olive Oil has been unfaithful to Popeye. He's never threatened to walk-out or even been caught to just "MAKE HER JEALOUS" or to "test" his Olive Oil or even as a "REBOUND" to forget Olive Oil all together!
*Popeye knows love, how to love, and gives it away oenly and freely to his SPECIAL ONE...."Olive Oil!"
*Popeye knows TRUTH and LOYALTY!
*Popeye is fmiliar with the PAINS and SUFFERING of REJECTION and remains FAITHFUL to ONE who is UNFAITHFUL.
`Ppeye DEFENDS Olive Oil and lays down HIS OWN life EVERY TIME he confronts :"Bluto" to ward him off his lady, though Popeye knows how to "POWER-UP" with his spinach!
*Popeye LONG-SUFFERS Olive Oil's VERBAL ABUSE.
*Popeye keeps NO RECORD of ANY of Olive Oil's WRONGFUL actions!
Unlike MOST cases often heard and witnessed, the problem is really Olive Oil, who ONLY recognizes Popeye as "HER HERO" only when Popeye has rescued her from Bluto's abuse (only to fall into Bluto's arms again-nd-again a little later). Olive Oil does NOT have her priorities in order!
*Olive Oil exercises NO RESPECT for Popeye.
*Olive Oil demonstrates NO sensitivity for Popeye.
*Olive Oil clerly demonstrates NO FAITHFULNESS or LOYALTY for Popeye.
*Olive Oil demonstrates and proves she's TOO IMMATURE to even DESIRE a serious relatonship.
*Olive Oil is "hooked" on LOOKS (appearance) of an ABSOLUTE ZERO than the qualities of a REAL HERO!
The only OUTSTANDING quality Olive Oil possesses is the fact that Olive Oil takes good crae of SWEET PEA, proves to be esponsible, a dedicated mother who takes SWEET PEA everywhere she goes!
OLIVE OIL'S FINAL MENTAL DIAGNOIS:
