OPEN FORM

Posted by Brian Strand on 7/19/2025 1:23:11 PM

My 'Open' poetic process emerge organically  as blossom from inspiration & embrace a natural placement to visually evolve into verse in a harmonious dance twixt content & form unfurling as a flower in an the emotional landscape of  symbiotic
thought becominga tapestry of perceivable wordplay indentation spacing &line breaks in woven cadences of expressive effect.
An open form that may be  be described as an apperception of poetic elements -imagery,assonance,rhythm,sound symbolism of an intuitive of the self conscious in a crystallised convergence of the moment ,lower case throughout ,with punctuation implied by the form.

Interpretation by the reader changing according to mood, thus essentially fluid and inherently variable.Especially in poetry read aloud where interpretation is unique each time as the reader participates in the poem as one does when iviewing a painting in a gallery.I first wrote in this style here at PS in Jan 2012 using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' (as intuitive cadence)& so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment.

This form is a cutting edge form as it embodies fluid consciousness & a connection between Form & Essence, which is what Spirit is, to my mind. I enjoy it because of its freedom & its letting go character. It is a great form to use to start releasing mind from matrix grids. So when we want to gravitate into 5D consciousness, this is the form to promote. Love it.

It is in the rhythm of each line, delicately breathing life into a story. Emotionally moving it's captive audience and provoking deep thought as the lines poured it's beautiful visions. Poetry is natures song of life living in Love.
