Caedmon's audio collection is a welcome addition to the audio poetry library, especially as the current choice is very limited to those who are partucularly interested in poetry as a vocal art.This an opportunity to hear poets read their own creations and is the most authentic voice interpretation thereof, notwithstanding that some poets are more 'easy on the ear' than others.Perhaps the only downside to this particular collection is the omission of one or two notable poets ie Pinsky and Heaney of the latter part of the 20th century, but that said this three cd set represents excellent value and hopefully will be the forerunner of more such inexpensive audios.
