Sins

Posted by Rakesh Kalita on 8/5/2025 8:28:02 AM
Neither do I know what I need, Nor do I know of my desire. It is the situation I fell in, When i want some low, and some higher. To him I kneel, i pray, i sing, I beg, i request and also do I ask. I hid my never-ending hunger, Wearing helplessness and needs of a mask. Sometimes it's ultimate recognition And sometimes it's the wealth, But what value will they bear, After the inevitable ending with death? In times I want absolute win, And in times i want to lose. It is not what is necessary, it is my cursed wishes that i choose. Lust envelopes me with darkness, Greed blinds me out. My own pride makes me deaf, Stopping what truth they shout. With envy i look at them, And wrath turns it to jealousy. But sloth of a sin takes over, And push me to the foul gluttony. Seven deadly sins are all these, Oneself doom in seven shining paths. When we blame it on the others, Watching us the one in throne laughs. It is not the god who is at fault, It is my conscience as a human. I was always cursed with forbidden, Before this life of mine even began. My first post. Please give it a read. Thank you : ) ~shaya
