Chase Henry

 In my life I was the town drunkard;
When I died the priest denied me burial
In holy ground.
The which rebounded to my good fortune.

Take note, ye prudent and pious souls, Of the cross-currents in life Which bring honor to the dead, who lived in shame.

But mongst them all, which did Loues honor rayse no word was heard of her that most it ought, but she his precept proudly disobayes, and doth his ydle message set at nought.
Therefore O loue, vnlesse she turne to thee ere Cuckow end, let her a rebell be.
