Poem

My poetic license became revoked on Doomsday 
An afternoon or dawn if I remember in December
The government won't help the situation much
They expired two days before the end came about
On marble floors and flat tires on the roads
While opioids spilled out on country highways
Remapped exactly as large trucks might have done
Some one stole my pen on that dead end 
Dragons know what I'm going through
Claws and fire inside the magic ride contracted
Law enforcement have no clue about this or that
No authority in such matters of abstractions
I can still scratch out a ballad with a toe nail bite
On sand which does not taste the same when diced
As sane as that might sound
Police still track me down
Since beaches are now out of bounds abandoned
Banished to the zero zone 
Once upon a time my poetry flowed out exactly
In the cosmic mirrored over loaded distant mist
Without a license to fall back on
The sky is deliberately black
Painted dirigibles drift empty on the void 
Each one as large as life with no way back
Captured holes fold into one another exploded
Paper sleeps between the sheets illegal
One can only imagine the consequences
When words go on without a poem
Go on vacation without an owner
Without a word
