Poem

Yes the crystal shattered
       It was empty so it never mattered 
            Saved for a wedding day
              Carefully put away
                 “Just you wait” she would say
                   But like her heart the pieces were scattered

                    She was a pretty girl
                   Smitten by a handsome devil named Earl
                Oh how he made her purr
            His chest hair soft as fur
       Sadly not just with her
To a swine you should never give a pearl           

He made her insides sing
       Yet it was only heartache he would bring
            He pretended his love
              was a gift from above
                 She thought she was his dove
                  But sadly there would be no wedding ring

                   Her breasts he did caress
                  after carefully removing her dress
                She had hoped to be blessed
             Only body caressed 
        Oh why was she impressed?
She desired Love but found emptiness
