Poem

It feels like I've been this way for so long
 Trying everyday to find something to help me move on
 Taking step after step just to get pushed back
 Or maybe my life isn't on the right track
 Gotta take the time to slow down
 To figure out why my lifes been going round and round
 Never getting much further than I was before
 It's my family and friends that I adore
 So maybe it's time to be a little more progressive
 In this short life that I live
 Because I am my own man
 Just have to do each and everything I can
For me to have a better destiny
 No body is going to be able to do this for me
 Asking questions everyday but its still feels like im lost
 Ill give up everything that I have but what's the cost
 Just trying my best to become my own boss
 Im not really trying to slave everyday at a nine to five
 I wanna live my life while I am alive
 Just have to find my motivation and drive
 I know that im better than this I just have to do it
 So I'll work everyday so I can prove it
 You can say for awhile that I've been down 
 It's time to start turning everything around
 Becauase I know in my heart I can become a better man
 It time for me to start believing that I truly can
 So right now Im going to be taking a stand
 To become a better man than I know I am
 To be able to do right by my fam
