Poem
The River As the Lord looked down from on His lofty throne upon Tampa’s spiritually parched and barren land His eyes began to swell with tears and fall upon the surrounding scorched sand. He then opened His mouth and spoke, “Let this place be flooded with My mercy and grace above and though we can see His touch of beauty in this landscape yet there has been such a void in the knowledge of His great love. So, with a heart filled with love and compassion His quest for the right servants quickly began for He knew that it would be a labor of love to tend this new born river a love used to fill His people and all the while convincing them of their sins. “Awe, yes”, said the Father, “The Howard-Browne’s, Rodney and Adonica are truly My first choice for this new and tender stream which shortly will turn into a might torrent of purging waters from which Tampa Bay and surrounding areas will one day be cleansed. The River is being purified in the underground stage but shall soon erupt over its banks and new top soil immediately causing the devil to break into a run having all of his evil plans for the church to have been foiled. But, you know the story doesn’t even begin to stop at this place for the River shall many times alter it course spawning new baby streams all over the world till the Savior comes back in full force.
