Poem

The destined call in the inevitable word ‘come’
implanted in the inner ear precisely at a time
when the eyes open to the lighthouse light,
journey begins with waves behind the sight.

The noise mounts on a pitch very high
as the sun travels slowly the gloomy sky,
the call is made but made to lie buried
under the sound of silence of the mind.

The call now mute but much real and true
goes out clear to all living under the blue,
waits at the back of the ear not yet heard
sinks sorely deep in the mind so blurred.

The omnipresent uninvited sound articulates
the word ‘come’ that implies the waiting fate
when the ordained hour of destiny fearsome
the clock is coded to stop would finally come.

The call in the inevitable word ‘come’
the voice rising from its inner home
starts ringing clear and loud in the ear
when the time to listen comes near.

When in tempest all sounds die at the sunset
the caller from the timeless void doesn’t wait
turns into the lighthouse beaconing bright,
the tired eyes close to the distant last light.

Another uncertain journey begins forlorn
to the world undefined and yet unknown,
the soul yearns to merge with the ultimate
to go into the enlightened eternal state.
