Poem
...A boy once blanketed this yonder mountain pass. He watched its shape changed by man's ever passing byes. His held onto true beliefs faded along side the paved roads he now knows. Ducks and deer are no longer in the songs he could here. Buzzing motors and tire treads do not relax; man oh man these men made quite an impact. Crashing cars, killing stars and wishing in bars for dreams so far out of reach that next they'll grow new legs and new feet. Arms holding their steering wheels for, taking deer life. Hanging onto threads that used to be rope. Gaps open up holes, it is such chances that enable things to make change. Courage fights without physical combat; when it's nature be true. Compassion shows no mercy to empathy when true nature passes be true. Truth doesn't lie about its inability not to tell on itself every single time truth lies. Honestly though, it's actually real people who decide which truth be true or to lie. Opinions are not always true nor are they outright lies if you ask me. Life teaches life lessons. Time ages well. Time ages man-or-do men simply age regardless of the passing of time? Time passed away and the funeral can be today, tomorrow or maybe even yesterday. The day you missed out on life is wasted time; dead time...time dead. What about that thing called love? Tough love teaches life lessons that you and I both thought we already knew. Being set up since day one to ultimately fail. Invisible walls reflect our fears and capture voices that stalk our shelves with full of uncertainty. Name calling and laughing at our own reflection—Hearing lies and seeing truths...Hair pulling madness! Real isn't really real, unless you say so. So say you so, unless real really isn't so real, so whenever you do so, say so. Ready . . .? On the count of 3— 1 2 3 The only things I can currently think of are nobody and nothing to truly be not real; because they don't even exist yet unless you say so. End (Insert date here)
