Growing up

Life is a struggle each and every
Growing up and going astray 
Lost in a world of confusion
Where people can be bisexual, lesbian and gay
And because of that they get turned away
Growing up is rough
Because even after that it’s still tough
Nothing will ever go exactly the way you want
Sometimes things won’t actually be what you thought you saw or heard
People lie
People will hurt you
Don’t care about your feelings
Won’t kiss your boo boo when you scrape your knee
Leave you behind
After they tell you that they care about you 
That you make them feel wanted
And then they just stop talking to you
And it all becomes clear
Clear that they never cared
Even when you were friends
They just didn’t give a damn
Everyone has to grow up some day
This is my day
I finally realized that I am naive 
That i fall too easily
The lesson I learned is that not everybody will care you want them to
I grew up a little today and i am growing up with each and everyday
