Poem
There's two sides to you A lady and woman They both have their perks But not much in common There's the meek and the humble And the spirit that's free One who likes refined men And then men like me One likes the nightlife And the other the fire From a candlelit dinner Filled with desire One rides my Harley with leather and lace So sexy her smile it makes my heart race Then there's the one who's proper and prim Whose business attire makes me long for her skin There's a cat on the outside yet a tiger within One flirts with her eyes and then with a grin The other just comes out and says what she wants She knows what she has, and has reason to flaunt It's both sides of you that this man longs to see The one to make you smile perpetually Your beauty a gift bestowed unto me Forever I promise eternity Now there's two sides to me That I want you to know The romantic one And the hey let's just go We can't make our adventures in only a day This life that we share is meant to be made By a bonfire in June with just you and me Or a rose on your pillow then under the sheets There also the pedestal that I'll place you on The just pack your bags our destinations unknown While all this is great one things left to prove I'm living this life to be shared with you So go on and sit back and take this all in The moments awaiting its set to begin Let me dress you up for a night on the town Or en evening in Aspen with a bear rug laid down There's two sides to you and two sides to me Whatever you choose we'll fit perfectly So consider me all that you'd ever want Without sunshine there's rain and no way to move on Let's preface these feelings with our memories And take to our graves what we truly believe That love is as timeless as an oceans breeze For all there is one and for you it is me Two souls in the shadows who yet to cast light An unending, undying eternal playwright Written for two who are meant to be one Forever two hearts considered in love
