Poem
Life, and the narrowing paths, we would find, The highs and lows, it's undulating line, We're never alone, although we're alone all the time... Caught again, repeating thoughts, transverses the mind... Everything and the Nothing, searching, to be defined. All that was, seemed questionably inclined, And That which is, a trying burden, trapped in time, As what would be, seemingly, growing darker inside the mind. The Emotional déjàvu, uncertainty, and unsure. As I've felt like this, a time way before, Inertially my faith endure, as myself and alone, Viewing the stars above, the silenced nights have grown, As a shooting star is seen, and a seeding wish is sown, Questioning what was done, the emptiness is shown. As seasons change, towards an endless winter. In Emptiness held, within the coming future. As for my dreams, they all seemed to freeze. And my hopes, they would wonder the breeze. I've been here before, and now, strangely here again, And about the years, from the present, and to the then, Curious the feeling, my restlessness would comprehend, Questions in this, as from now, and again, to the when? And Yet I carry on, The best way I could, Trying not to look back, But sometimes I would. I see my past wasted, I see my future tough, How much further to go on, May be I've had enough. As These challenges here consent, Their Walls, I tend to resent, Acceptance learned in time lament, The now, the then, As was all within related intent. At times our mind can be, a beautiful friend, Straightened thoughts, getting through the end, And yet our mind can be, harsh as a cruel master, Constantly reminding within, our momentary failures. Over coming ourselves, being the constant battle, Learning to let go, then as again, climbing back upon this saddle, The sacrifices we've made, no one would truly know, The inner we've gained, faded light remained, Bolder the glow, as our efforts would eventually show. S F B Temperamentally...
