Poem
"I watch the bathwater drain" says Tonight Alive with powerful refrain stepping out of a bleach bath to hide from her pain Hesitating, she turns the water back on, her self esteem slain as she waits for the tub to refill, here she grabs a single pill one to induce sleep hopefully for thirty minutes but she hopes it would make her ill ill for a little while so she can disguise her misery, dress it up as a smile walk down the aisle, press play and let the show start playing a worthwhile part, a new wife who would've thought yet something's missing, Vanus empty Maybe it's stress she expresses as she consumes her aid to sleep half an hour away turning off the water again, she looks like she sees a ghost from within though it's her reflection inside peering out through the bubbles and shouting chorus ripples her past events as her head starts to spin The moment when she would win her mother crying with a grin look who's born, look who's alive though it feels like goodbye as we fast forward to see her learn to crawl then walk her first playtime with chalk One by one, frame by frame sparkles Elaine with beauty, with radiance, with grace with melancholy, with apathy, with a glacier on her shoulder I would've said but I've messed this up in the end create a short story inside a poem and the words breathe messy oh I apologize audience, you don't know me Elaine I'm afraid...your husband to be, fiance I guess that makes me Hey, Elaine, forgive me and my sudden attempt to catch your blush I need to save this somehow so allow me to start with I love you I know you have doubts, I know this isn't your dream still stick with me, allow me to be your new dream you are mine Please I don't want to lose you to steam, a frying body laid down in a stream to cool off from the heat leave the bathwater alone, leave it to the moonlighted glow wrap yourself in a blanket with me survive your trials, you always have with you, I'm always glad Resurrect not your distress but your passion for I am passionately persuaded I'm in love with you, you and only you this ice sculpture to survive the sun's rays for you shine everyday melting my heart to the point where I dont think it would start You are everything to me the wind, the earth, and the trees so powerful you bring me down with one sneeze even Counting Crows knew it would spell out love and I love you so let the bathwater drain come here, save your strength walk down this aisle with me my dearest Elaine Will you please say yes again if I'd ask you to marry me Elaine, Elaine wake up and say you'll marry me Elaine...Elaine...Elaine!
