Poem
In the country I live the criminal is adored. He’s placed on a pedestal far above laws. He’s put into prisons with revolving doors that exits to streets where he rages some more. The purpose of prison is to rehab the con and keep him from doing any more harm. But the product that exits that revolving door is murder and mayhem worse than before. Now, there are many who say that justice is blind but you have to admit that it lost it’s mind when it sets criminals out on the loose to ravage society with endless abuse. The law has a purpose of that I am sure but what is that purpose I’m still looking for. It shelters the criminal, stresses the cop and sends all of society reeling in shock. The system we have just doesn’t make sense when the victims must suffer all the expense. They pay for the courts, the cops, and jails and pay with their lives when the system fails. Now, why are lawyers in this so thick? Their survival depends on the criminal clique. The more clients they have the more they survive, it’s to their advantage to see that they thrive. The psychiatrist says they’re misunderstood if you drug them and hug them they will be good. But psychiatry can make criminals worse, and society is shoved in the back of a hearse. Justice has value to degrees that it’s done and when it’s not served then the criminals won So fight fire with fire, crime with gallows and gun; that which defeats you is what you may become. I’ll be a vigilante, jury and judge. I’ll put your neck in a noose and give you an nudge. I’ll push you from the pedestal and watch as you dance with the ACLU shoved up your underpants.
