Poem
(based on Indian wedding system) Once i known a girl who used to walk with glee Now i suddenly remembered that how was she Elegance perfection reflects her face Now i interrogates that everything was wrong with her new pace U cant believe that the girl was once recieved so much love But later her near ones let her burnt into cinders At once they filled her heart with love and bliss But in her second journey they filled her heart with poignance They said don't talk to strangers But they let me marry one She thought they will not to do to her what others did to their daughters So she used to believe each and every word they utters She too called herself betrayed Her life was going to be dwindled She was going to suffer from eternal agony and pain. But the patriarchal and the law will not feel shame She had a trepidation for agreeing for marriage So she couldn't denied and so she can't be embarrassed Her parents also suffered to raise money for dowry They refused but the groom's kin got all frowny And they said goodbye to her The outcome is very catastrophic Her condition was worse than pathetic All she gathered and got were miseries and regrets Earlier she used to think she was perfect Even she used to afraid of her own shadow She felt miserable who once smelled like a meadow She was gullible and so she trusted her parents All she knew is to have courage and patience She was kind to her second family But her parents were proved as her own enemy It's not too late Something could be done She suffered , she whined , she lived So the time came to take the step Her parents helped her and gave her the zeal So she realesed herself from the captivation From every threat her parents conjured She came out of it but as injured She remained in agony for months Later she smiled and said to her parents to begin a new life And she said I can't be somebody's wife Now she was a successful and rich And forgot all the hatered she enriched Now I completely forgot that girl Unless Oh alas! That girl was me
